Collection consists of Dr. C. Sylvester Green's materials for his book on Rachel Maxwell Moore. It includes the original typed manuscript, two photocopies of proofs, and letters and memoranda related to the book. Also includes a copy of Mrs. Moore's will, minutes of the Rachel Maxwell Moore Art Foundation (1965-1978), and a booklet, First Fifty Years, 1917-1967, The Woman's Club, Greenville, North Carolina. Collection also contains information on Greenville, with letters from members of Mrs. Moore's family, Dr. Leo Jenkins, and other prominent citizens of Greenville. |
